How to prepare for your pets grooming appointment
Before Appt Prep
Up to date Bordatella (kennel cough) & rabies vaccinations
Text or Email a copy of vaccination records prior to appt OR bring an updated copy to your pets appt.
Do your best to let your pet use the restroom before their appt, poop bags and hand sanitzer are provided in lobby! (we take potty breaks throughout the day, this helps with excitement upon arrival)
Expect to leave your pet for 2-4 hours (smaller dogs usually take 2-3 hours, larger dogs usually take 3-4 hours) We do provide water to drink but we do not provide food.
Puppy Prep
Puppies first groom (bath, nails, ears, paw/sanitary/face trim) should be done between 12-16 weeks.
The only vaccines your puppy requires are their regular puppy vaccines until they are old enough for Rabies & Bordatella. Please provide a copy of all vaccines your puppy has recieved at the time of their appt.
Brush & comb your puppy a few times a week to get them used to it.
(Calmly) massage your puppies paws & chin throughout the day to get them used to being handled in those areas.
Bathe your puppy and turn on your blow dryer near them to get them used to the sound.
Post Appt
Brush in between grooming appts and in between baths
Brush before & after baths
Remember to always tell your pets how cute they look! It sounds silly but trust me, they know!
